PhotoHunt: CARD

Following this PhilPost truck one time made me think of the lost art of letter-writing. In the age of emails and Twitter, how many of us have received birthday cards by mail lately? How many are still excited when the mailman swings by to unload a bunch of letters (minus the bills, of course)?

on the road to work, March 2011, using a digicam.

  1. I am one of those who really miss this activity. I like rec and sending cards. As a matter of fact I still send out Xmas cards to people I know would appreciate them.

  2. Good twist on the theme! I can't remember the last time I got something in the mail that wasn't junk or a bill.

  6. i still love receiving snail mails. I think, it's more personal than receiving emails, offlines, etc.
